Occasionally items from collections can be offered for sale in order to provide funding for archival/conservation materials, storage facilities or for the further enhancement and development of collections.

As some of these items have been obtained from the most direct sources available, and/or have been used in specific publications or productions, they can often appear for sale with rare provenance. Where appropriate, this information is provided for the benefit of the prospective buyer.
